Haddock with Browned Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 Sizzlefish Haddock Fillets

  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder

  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder

  • Salt, to taste

  • Pepper, to taste

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 1 TBSP Olive Oil

  • 2 cups Fresh Green Beans

  • 1 Red Pepper, sliced thinly

  • 1 Shallot, sliced thinly

  • 1 Lemon, cut into wedges

Description

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Season the haddock fillets with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the fillets in the oven and bake 15 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 145° F.

  4. In a large sauté pan, add about 1 tablespoon olive oil. Heat on medium heat. Once heated, place the green beans, red peppers, and shallots in the pan.

  5. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until crisp-tender.

  6. Start your browned butter at this point. (instructions above)

  7. Once everything is ready, plate the green bean mixture, place the haddock fillets on top and drizzle browned butter over the dish.
